Accufit™

Lutronic Accufit™

Accufit meets Dr. Hudes’ high standards for safely improving muscle tone and strength. Accufit doesn’t use electromagnetic energy, making treatment safer. Men and women in Cumming, GA, and nearby areas can benefit from painless Accufit treatments.

What Is Accufit?

Accufit, unlike other non-invasive muscle toning treatments, feels like yoga, strength training, sculpting, and massaging workouts. It employs the same electro-muscular stimulation technology that physical therapists have been using to strengthen muscles for decades. Accufit treatments can help men and women tone their abs, thighs, and buttocks.

How Does Accufit Work?

Through electrodes attached to the patient, Accufit delivers electronic energy to targeted muscles. The treatment is computer-controlled and uses four different waveforms to manipulate muscles in twisting, holding, gripping, and tapping motions that mimic a multi-dimensional workout. Other non-invasive muscle toning treatments, which use magnetic energy in a one-dimensional manner, are not like this.

What Can I Expect From an Accufit Treatment?

Treatments consist of a unique 4-cycle program that includes stretching, muscle building, and recovery. At the start of the treatment, you can expect to feel your muscles gently contract. The contractions become more powerful as the intensity rises. Each cycle is followed by a “warm down” to help prevent fatigue before the next one.

Treatments are usually between 30 and 60 minutes long and are painless. The abdomen, buttocks, and thighs can all be treated in a single treatment session.

What Happens After an Accufit Treatment?

Patients can resume their normal activities right after a treatment session because Accufit is a non-invasive treatment. Even though the procedure is painless, you may experience tingling in the treated areas for a few hours afterward, as well as some mild muscle tenderness for 24 to 72 hours. Consider how you’d feel after a strenuous workout.

To get the most out of Accufit, we recommend scheduling 6 separate treatment sessions at least 2 days apart. Additional treatment sessions may be required depending on the patient’s condition at the start of the treatment.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Accufit?

Men and women who want to improve muscle tone are the best candidates for Accufit. It’s also great for people who have reached a point in their workouts where they want to add more muscle definition. Accufit isn’t meant to be a replacement for exercise, and we advise patients to keep up their workout routines and eat a healthy diet in between treatment sessions. Treatment sessions of 45 minutes are recommended on a regular basis to keep your results.
